I know many of you are in a state of uncertainty regarding COVID-19, Coronavirus. Here at CNC we’re carefully following reports from the Alabama Department of Public Health and the CDC. As of today, March 16, we are giving our employees the option to work from home. This is made possible due to a strong, secure network and systems that we put in place for disasters or catastrophic events, allowing our claims handling to proceed uninterrupted.
- We have outfitted every employee with the necessary equipment to work from home/remotely.
- We utilize a web-based VoIP phone provider to maintain constant contact, recreating the office atmosphere of open and shared communication.
- We use cloud-based workstations, allowing us to remotely log into our workstations from anywhere in the world, 100% remotely and securely.
Further, we have suspended all CNC-related travel for the time being.

When unexpected events happen, policyholders need reliable, efficient service. CNC can handle even the most complicated claims using our proprietary, innovative systems.
Remote, Secure Workstations
We’ve outfitted each employee with the necessary equipment to remotely and securely log in to their workstations at any time. Utilizing a web-based VoIP phone provider, we’re able to maintain constant communication with our team, our adjusters, and policyholders, from anywhere.
We offer live virtual adjusting to get claims done from afar, using the policyholder’s cell phone camera and microphone. Policyholders have the flexibility and comfort of knowing they can participate in touchless claim inspections and secure electronic document sharing. Claims processing can begin as early as the first notice of loss.
Robust CNC-Built Mapping System
Our one-of-a-kind mapping system allows adjusters to be assigned losses down to street level — they can actually walk down the street from claim to claim.
Automated Customer Service
Our system calls policyholders the moment we receive their claim with information on how they can reach their adjuster and log in to view their claim.
The policyholder has access to an easy-to-use portal for their claim information, as well as a place to upload documents and photos, and messaging capabilities so they’re up-to-date at all times.
This tool is in place internally to automatically read and review files and find errors before our desk adjusters even see the claim, saving valuable time.
We built from the ground up a user-friendly, interactive claims reporting app for Android and Apple devices that uses a guided workflow to photograph and scope claims. Adjusters of any experience level can quickly download the app and begin using it on the spot.
CNC Training Facility
Year-round training is offered for all of our adjusters, either in-person at our training facility, in the field, or through virtual webinars to ensure our adjusters are equipped with the latest information. We’re excited to roll out a learning management system in late 2020.
