Patsy Lambert, Accounts Receivable Manager

Why do you do what you do?  The satisfaction of knowing I have helped in some small way an individual or company rebuild their homes and property after a catastrophe strikes.

What was your proudest career moment? Receiving the Navy Achievement Medal for superior performance while serving as Enlisted Processor and also the receipt of the National Defense Service Medal for outstanding support during Operation Desert Storm and Desert Shield while serving in the United States Navy.

What fuels you to do your best?  Knowing that what I do can affect everyone I come in contact with from my professional life  to my personal life.  I feel if I do my best, everyone around me will be at their best.

What drew you to CNC?  At first a job to pay the bills.  A temp agency sent me here a couple of months after Hurricane Katrina.  Let’s just say after almost 8 years here, I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.  I’ve worked for large and small companies in the past but the atmosphere and the feeling of family here at CNC are incomparable.

What are the changes you notice in the industry or foresee?  Technology changes everything and that will continue in the future with any industry.

What are you good at?  Multitasking and organization… But don’t look at my home office.  Yikes.

Outside CNC I love to ...  Fish, read, and lay on my couch and watch TV.  Hey, I’m over 50 and I’ve done just about everything I want to do and see everything I want to see. For now anyway.

What’s your favorite song with a weather theme or title?  “Ain’t No Sunshine”, Bill Withers.
