Why do you do what you do? Of the different jobs I have had, this one comes the most natural to me, has great rewards and many different opportunities, and the stressful moments are usually easy to manage vs. other jobs that are filled with constant stress, low pay, and no rewards. In those jobs, you are just another number and everything is about the bottom line and who gives a damn about you.
What was your proudest career moment? Knowing that I had FINALLY found a good career that would give back what I put into it.
What fuels you to do your best? The rewards that come as a result of doing your best.
What drew you to CNC? The laid back atmosphere and the opportunities that are extended to EVERYONE that wants to give it their best. You cannot even come close to making a success at most other places unless you know a certain someone.
What are the changes you notice in the industry or foresee? More industry-related education for adjusters which makes us better at what we do. And, hopefully a more streamlined process for obtaining non-resident state licenses when it’s time to obtain that license quickly and get to a catastrophe site in that particular state.
What are you good at? Anything that I find that I like, that I put my mind to, and can understand. But, God knows that is nowhere near being everything. I am not a know-it-all and am bad at many more things than I am good at.
Outside CNC I love to…. Spending time with family, friends, and good-looking, friendly females. Hunting, competition shooting & gun collecting. Working on the occasional car with a friend over a six pack of something good. Scuba diving & spear fishing, and last but not least, spending time on my sailboat.
What’s your favorite song with a weather theme or title? No songs come to mind at the moment. However, I do get excited over the natural sound of a windstorm over the water as long as there is no danger to me while enjoying it.
