Lynda McCoy, HR Manager
Why do you do what you do? I enjoy a challenge – Every day we make decisions to either be a success or failure, I choose to succeed, that’s why I do what I do.
What was your proudest career moment? When I received a promotion a few months ago with CNC….. that was one of the proudest moments in my life!
What fuels you to do your best? One thing that fuels me are the words my mother always spoke when I was a child “IF ITS WORTH DOING, IT’S WORTH DOING RIGHT THE FIRST TIME” she always said that when I was making my bed. It translated to many areas of my life. I learned to be a person of integrity, which means, you will not be liked all the time but you can lay your head down at night and sleep with a clear conscious. But I learned the most important life principle form the Word of God - You will reap what you sow. Why not reap blessing? If you got to know me on a personal level you would find out my life is proof of blessings.
What drew you to CNC? When I learned what type of company this was and that it was family owned, I knew this would be a great place to be employed. After I got to know all the wonderful people and the Fowlers I was proud to be associated with other that have integrity in business practices but most of all have a heart for their employees. I love my job and CNC!!
What are the changes you notice in the industry or foresee? I would have to say the challenges are finding and keeping qualified adjusters to work when the need arises.
What are you good at? I’m good with people. I can get things organized in short order. I am good at being committed and finding ways to work out problems.
Outside CNC I love to ... I love it when I can be who God created me to be…..a momma and a grandmamma! I learned many years ago that simple pleasures are really the most rewarding. My family is amazing!
What’s your favorite song with a weather theme or title? “Let It Rain” Let it rain, let it rain. Open the floodgates of Heaven…..
