Joshua Walker, Senior Systems Administrator
Why do you do what you do?
Information Technology, at it's core, is all about serving others. The network infrastructure my team and I create helps fuel a business that touches thousands of lives in their darkest hour. Knowing my skills can have a positive impact on someones life drives me to do this each and every day.
What was your proudest career moment?
It is difficult to pinpoint a single defining moment in my career because I believe each moment builds on the last. However, the latest redesign of our internal network is definitely one of my proudest moments. Seeing the excitement in the eyes of other members of management and the way my team rallied around the project to roll it out made me strive to create the best product I could.
What fuels you to do your best?
From an early age I was taught to give my best in everything I do. The way I approach a project sets the tone for my team and everyone involved. I strive to give my very best because I want the end result to affect others in a positive way.
