Jo Ann Fowler, Vice President, Accounting
Why do you do what you do?
I like the challenge of running the business. Getting up every day with something important to do. I ALWAYS have work to do at the office.
What was your proudest career moment?
Graduating from college 30 years after high school graduation with a degree in accounting. Yea ME!
What fuels you to do your best?
I am determined that we get it right. I like things to be organized, in order and be the very best it can be. This is what makes me come to work. I want all the people that I come in contact with to succeed.
What drew you to CNC?
Working with my husband Cortez and our three sons in a family business. This helped me keep the boys grounded and a watchful eye is always there. The mom in me never stops working for the betterment of my family and my extended CNC family.
What are the changes you notice in the industry or foresee?
Many of the very good adjusters have gone into their own businesses and many have left the adjuster pool due to lack of work.
What are you good at?
Working with figures, solving problems and working towards solutions in a proactive way.
Outside CNC I love to ...
Watch Alabama football. Spend time with grandkids and family. Read the most grotesque murder mysteries. Watch movies on my home theatre. Go to the beach house with hubby and Bozo, my Boston Terrier. Enjoy the beautiful life God has given me and my family.
