Chris Fowler, Vice President
Why do you do what you do?
I do this job because I love it. I appreciate the opportunity to help people and I get a sense of fulfillment in my work.
What was your proudest career moment?
There are many. Earning my designations always make me proud, but it’s getting the letters of complements and the many thanks from people I helped. I best remember a Christmas card from Teddie Smith. There was a picture of his house lifted into the air by a crane while it was having a new foundation installed. He said it was my expertise and guidance that enabled him to get the funds needed to get his home elevated so that it would no longer flood.
What fuels you to do your best?
The competition initiated by my brothers and carried out throughout our organization all the way down to basketball in the parking lot.
What drew you to CNC?
I started working with my dad when I was 18 building the company, so I have to say it was knowing I'd always get to work with my family.
What are the changes you notice in the industry or foresee?
I see more of a move away from the personal side of our business to a more technological side.
What are you good at?
I’m good at art, photography and cooking
Outside CNC I love to ...
I love spending time with my three boys... doing boy things.... teaching them all the things I can about life, good and bad. I love spending time with my wife, just living in the moment. I also enjoy painting, drawing, playing guitar, skydiving, deep sea fishing and spending time with my brothers and my mom and dad.
What’s your favorite song about the weather?
"Eruption", Van Halen
