Ashley Case, Director of Accounting
Ashley Case began her career at CNC in 1997 assisting policyholders with Hurricane Danny claims. Helping people get their life back on track after experiencing a catastrophic event was a challenging and rewarding way to utilize my talents. After working in the CNC Claims Department for six years, I transitioned to HR and Accounting. I realized that adjusters really like being paid correctly and a happy adjuster is a polite and courteous adjuster. I enjoy spending my free time with my daughter, Lily.

Mike Barrios, Senior Claims Examiner
Why do you do what you do? Of the different jobs I have had, this one comes the most natural to me, has great rewards and many different opportunities, and the stressful moments are usually easy to manage vs. other jobs that are filled with constant stress, low pay, and no rewards. In those jobs, you are just another number and everything is about the bottom line and who gives a damn about you.

Vaughn Nelson, Account Manager
Why do you do what you do? My motivation as a claims adjuster is a real desire to help insureds deal with their respective loss. After personally suffering substantial damage to three homes in my lifetime from catastrophic loss (Hurricane Camille in 1969, Frederick in 1979, and Georges in 1998), I have first-hand experience with the financial and emotional hardships involved in living with the realities of personal material loss. I am one of the “lucky” people in the world in that I really love what I do
